- A Leetonia Road, Leetonia, woman reported at 3:09 p.m. last Friday she received a call claiming she won money and she needed to send a $20 processing check. She did and only received more calls for more money, at which time she decided she did not want to be involved anymore. Deputies explained it was a scam and not to have any contact with these people.

- A state Route 517, Lisbon, resident reported several loose cows in the area at 2:11 a.m. Thursday. Deputies found several cows on the side of the road near the railroad crossing on state Route 517. The cows crossed back into the field and dispatch was able to contact the owner.

- Deputies were called to the Duke and Duchess, U.S. Route 62, Alliance, at 12:44 a.m. Thursday because a woman was inside a parked vehicle and either ill or intoxicated. People outside the vehicle had tried to awaken her, but she was not responding. Deputies had a tow truck operator use a door-opening kit to get inside. Once awakened Jessica Lynn Truitt, 20, Milner Street, Alliance, passed typical OVI tests, but admitted to working a lot of hours and having a couple beers with a friend after work. She pulled into the lot because she was tired. Truitt was charged with underage consumption and taken to the county jail.

- A Mountz Road, East Rochester, man reported at 7:49 p.m. Wednesday someone stole a pancake air compressor, car batteries, gasoline cans with gas and possibly two tires from his barn. The neighbor told him he saw an SUV and two people at the barn at about 2:30 p.m.
