"We came out really flat to start the game," first-year east Liverpool head coach Katie Smith said. "We couldn't get into a groove. They scored real quick off the bat. I think they scored in the first seven minutes of the match.
"Steubenville Catholic Central is a tough team. They passed well, and they seemed to be in right place at the right time for their goals.
"This is our first game. It is just a stepping stone. I am expecting big things for this team this year. We have the rest week practice. I am looking forward to Saturday's game."
