EAST LIVERPOOL - The Potters are on fire.

The East Liverpool golf team continued its winning ways Tuesday with a victory in a tri over United and Oak Glen at Turkana Golf Course. The Potters finished first with 143, the Golden Eagles placed second with 177 and the Golden Bears ended up third with 212.

Individually for East Liverpool, Isaac Davidson earned medalist honors shooting a 33.

Also for East Liverpool, Joey Cilone contributed a 34, Blake Prince recorded a 37 and Matt Hilditch chipped in with a 39.

"In my four years as coach, that is one of the best we have shot at Turkana," East Liverpool head coach Ben Wright said. "We had to deal with the wind and the rain. We had two kids shoot under par, and we had four kids score in the 30s. It was an impressive performance."

Bradley Miller recorded a 39 to lead the way for the Golden Eagles.

Also for United, Kasen Smith tallied a 41, Hayden Wilson finished with a 48 and Mason Sanders shot 49.

Matt McLaughlin led the way for the Golden Bears with a 46.

Also for Oak Glen, Hayley Spurlock contributed a 51, Taylor Kincaid delivered a 57 and Jacob Stipec chipped in with a 58.

Oak Glen's next match is today at home against Indian Creek. East Liverpool's next match is Thursday against Youngstown Ursuline at East Liverpool Country Club.

East Palestine 158, Columbiana 160

EAST PALESTINE - Ryen Kemp earned co-medalist honors with a 38 leading the East Palestine golf team to a 158-160 victory Tuesday over Columbiana at East Palestine Country Club.

Also for the Bulldogs (5-1, 3-1), DJ Bandy delivered a 39, Phil Gerner recorded a 40 and Alec Dumbauld tallied a 41.

The Clippers' Nathan Garafalo shared medalist honors by shooting 38 to lead the way. Also for Columbiana (5-2), Kyle Byron recorded a 39, Bruce Wiggins shot 41 and Clayton Cooper contributed a 42.

"It was a well-played match by both teams," East Palestine head coach Bob Hall said.

Monday, East Palestine defeated Crestview, 172-196, at East Palestine Country Club.

Dumbauld earned medalist honors with a 40 to lead the way for the Bulldogs. Also for East Palestine, Gerner recorded a 43, drew Wilson shot 44 and Bandy added a 46.

Robert Logan led the way for the Rebels with a 40. Also for Crestview, Tom Siembida added a 49, Enzo Lucci contributed a 52 and Craig Landsberger recorded a 55.

East Palestine plays today at Springfield.
