LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Tuesday, Kerri E. Steffel, 24, Kensington Road, Kensington, was fined $700, sentenced to 20 days in jail, had her license suspended for 180 days and required 50 hours community service for OVI first offense and failure to control.
Cooper B. Lewis, 23, Cedar Street, Lisbon, was fined $675, sentenced to 20 days in jail, had his license suspended for 180 days and required 50 hours of community service for OVI first offense.
Susan L. Arthur, 56, Taylor Road, Negley, was fined $675, sentenced to 20 days in jail and had her license suspended for 180 days for OVI first offense and failure to control.
Crystal A. Kind, 20, McCann Road, East Rochester, was fined $1,000 and required 30 hours community service for underage consumption.
Tony Hilton, 32, Bacon Avenue, East Palestine, was fined $300 and sentenced to 77 days in jail for driving under FRA suspension, obstruction of official business, speeding and ficticious plates.
Nicole Graef, 25, Rauch Road, East Palestine, was fined $300 and sentenced to seven days in jail for two counts of violating a temporary protection order for leaving two voicemails on the person's phone on one occasion and five on another occasion.
Roy A. Jackson, 61, Sharp Street, Salem, was fined $250 for domestic violence and disorderly conduct for assaulting his live-in girlfriend and fighting with a neighbor on Aug. 8.
Jennifer Smyth, 42, Glasgow Road, Salineville, was fined $200 and required 20 hours community service for cruelty to animals. Three additional counts of cruelty to animals were dismissed. Court records indicate humane officer Jan Palmer found a bull dog unable to hold her head up while she laid in the yard, a Boston terrier with injuries, a dachshund with a swollen face and a Sheltie mix with puncture wounds on its face on two different dates.
Travis K. VanCamp, 21, Bayton Street, Alliance, was fined $200 and required 50 hours of community service for underage consumption and obstructing official business amended from falsification. An open container citation was dismissed. VanCamp was charged after he was found with an open beer at the Salem Super Cruise in Salem this June and his attorney, Patrick Cusma, pointed out that Van Camp admitted he made the situation worse by his actions. He reportedly lied to police about having his license.
Mark J. Weber, 33, Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle amended from speeding.
Ronald A. McKay, 50, North Pleasant Drive, East Palestine, was fined $300 for improper backing and unsafe vehicle amended from hit-skip.
Paris L. Lotze, 20, South Main Street, Columbiana, was fined $225 and required 80 hours community service for speeding and two counts of no license.
Bernd Rosellen, 63, Prompton, Pa., was fined $50 for improper passing and a no license citation was dismissed.
A failure to control citation against Lori M. Stefansky, 40, Gahanna, was dismissed.
A driving under suspension citation against Andrew J. Graber, 20, Westwood Avenue, Alliance, was dismissed.
An Aug. 27 pretrial was set for Theodore H. Tsesmilles, 60, East Main Street, Salineville, charged with two counts of violating a temporary protection order for allegedly following his estranged wife.
An Aug. 27 pretrial was set for Brittany A. Washburn, 24, Cuyahoga Falls, charged with OVI third offense, possession of drugs (hydrocodone) and failure to control.
A Sept. 6 pretrial was set for Alec E. Lamancusa, 21, Salem-Alliance Road, Salem, charged with OVI first offense and improper backing.
A Sept. 11 pretrial was set for Christopher T. Anderson, 23, Youngstown, charged with assault for alleged mistreatment of a highly autistic and mentally challenged person at New Leaf Residential Services. Anderson allegedly forcefully pushed the victim to the couch on one occasion, wrestled him in order to get him into the shower and poured small amounts of cold water on his head on another occasion.
A Sept. 18 pretrial was set for Sabrina L. Wolford, 18, state Route 45, Lisbon, cited with underage consumption on Saturday.
