Glen and Sherl Foster of East Palestine are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristy Lynn Foster, to Kurt Seachrist. He is the son of Sherry Seachrist of Lisbon and the late Wayne Seachrist.
The bride-elect is employed as a reporter for the Farm and Dairy newspaper in Salem. She graduated from Mineral Ridge High School in 1996 and Youngstown State University with a degree in journalism and telecommunications in 2001.
Her fiance is employed with the city of Columbiana. He is a 1997 Beaver Local High School graduate.
