Bug Day will be held
at MetroParks Farm
CANFIELD - Bug Day will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the MetroParks Farm. This event, devoted to insects and their relatives, is not only fun, but educational as well.
Children will play bug games such as Bug Bingo, hunt for bugs, race bugs, view bugs through microscopes, learn about bees and earn a "Master of Bugology" degree.

Family Garden Day is slated from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Fellows Riverside Gardens.

SALEM - Students in grades seven to 12 are invited to a murder mystery party titled Book Fair of Death from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 17 in the Quaker Room at the Salem Public Library.
Attendees will use clues to identify a murderer from a cast of characters. This after hours lock-in program is presented in conjunction with Salem Community Theatre's Youth Theater.

Concert goers asked
to donate canned goods
NORTH LIMA - In an effort to give something back to the community, the Beaver Township Park Board is asking residents attending the concerts in Woodworth Park in August to help with its canned food drive.
Canned food items may be dropped off at the park during the free performances from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the park. Because seating is limited and the concerts are outdoors, attendees are advised to bring lawn chairs or blankets and to dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather.
