PENSACOLA, Fla. - Claude T. Price, 63, a resident of Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Salem, died Tuesday in Pensacola following an illness.
He was born May 8, 1949, in Salem, the son of the late Virgil E. and Janice M. (Byall) Price.
Mr. Price served with the U.S. Army in the 101st Airborne Division for three years with two tours in Vietnam. He worked 28 years as a chemical technician for BP - Amoco in both Illinois and Georgia, before retiring in 1999.
Mr. Price attended the Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith.
Survivors include three brothers, Verlyn E. Price of Bollingbook, Ill., Wayne H. Price of Mentor, Ohio, and Paul E. Price of Muncie, Ind.; two sisters, Pearl Jean (Cline) Alexander of Painesville, Ohio, and Audrey E. (Gary) Wyatt of Pensacola, Fla.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home in Salem with one hour visitation prior to the service. Elder William Ross, Mr. Price's cousin from the Church of the Blessed Hope, will officiate. Burial will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
