EAST PALESTINE - Richard L. Clark Sr., 84, of Neeld Road, died early Wednesday morning at the Salem Community Hospital.
Born Feb. 3, 1928, in East Palestine, he was the son of the late Frank L. and Lyda (Bussard) Clark.
Mr. Clark had been employed as a mechanic at Brittain Motors for 25 years. He later worked at Jones Motor Freight prior to his retirement.
His wife, the former Jane Cunningham, whom he married Nov. 13, 1948, preceded him in death on Jan. 13, 2005.
Survivors include a daughter, Judith L. Nenadic of Columbiana; a son, Richard L. Clark of North Benton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Betty Paulin of East Palestine.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home (www.oliver-linsley.com). James Ostick of the First Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens in New Waterford.
