HANOVERTON - Wayne F. Binsley, 75, of state Route 518, died at 11:28 p.m. Wednesday at his home.
Mr. Binsley was born Feb. 3, 1937 in Hanoverton, a son of the late Floyd and Mary (Rice) Binsley, and had lived his entire life in the area.
A 1955 graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School, Wayne worked as a machinist in several local machine shops, retiring from Hall Machine in Carrollton.
He was a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Binsley also served our country as a member of the U.S. Army, serving during peacetime.
He is survived by his wife, Karen (Prasco) Binsley, whom he married Aug. 26, 1990; daughter, Janet Haifley of Hanoverton; son, Eric (Jeanne) Binsley of Bolivar, Ohio; five grandchildren; a great granddaughter; stepchildren, Lori Sweeney of Columbiana, Doug (Cassie) Koffel of Lisbon, and seven step grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Edith (King) Binsley.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Allmon officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
