LISBON - Ernest Lee Andre, 53, of Lisbon, died Tuesday in Butler Township, Salem.

He was born on Oct. 12, 1958 in Salem to William Leonard and Helen Marie (Swartz) Andre.

He was a lifelong area resident and was the owner of the Texas 10 Minute Oil Change on East State Street in Salem. He served in the U.S. Army from 1976 to 1979.

He is survived by his mother of Salem, father of Hanoverton; wife, the former Amy Jo Beatty whom he married on Aug. 22, 2011; his children, Scott Eric (Gretchen) Andre of Leetonia, Jessica Marie Andre of Seattle, Wash., Robin Lynn Dennison of Salem, Justin Ray Laws of Lisbon, Melissa Ann (Levi) Pollock of Hanoverton, Kaitlyn Destiny Gorby of Lisbon, Robert David Berg of Lisbon and Leah Gabriel Berg of Lisbon; siblings, Bonnie L. Andre of Salem, Amy S. (William) Gibson of Youngstown, and David L. (Cindy) Andre of Salem; and eight grandchildren.

The family has established a trust account at Huntington Bank. Those who wish to make a donation can go to any Huntington Bank.

Ernie's family and friends are invited to a family picnic at 6 p.m. Friday at 32459 Teegarden Road, Hanoverton.
