Bible school at Greenford Lutheran

GREENFORD - Greenford Lutheran Church will host "Sky" vacation Bible School from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 30 through Aug. 3 at Coy Park. Children in pre-kindergarten to fifth grade are invited. To register call Tiffany Kaiser at 330-533-5987.

Southern Gospel Trio at Canfield church

CANFIELD -The Pathfinders, a Southern Gospel Trio from Mount Holly, N.C., will perform at 6 p.m. July 15 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road. There is no charge to attend. However, a free will offering will be taken.

Breakfast at Damascus United Methodist

DAMASCUS -The public is invited to an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. July 21 at the Damascus United Methodist Church. Proceeds will go in the youth director's fund. The next breakfast is Aug. 18.

Calvary Baptist Church Bible school

SALEM -Children ages 5 and up are invited to vacation Bible school from 6 to 8 p.m. July 16-20 at the Calvary Baptist Church, 1779 Depot Road. The theme is "Ten Commandments and Salvation." There will be crafts, puppets and snacks. A family night with a hot dog roast will be held on July 20. Music will be provided by the Loving God Quartet.

Bus tour to 'The Strip' in Pittsburgh

SALEM - St. Paul Church is sponsoring a bus tour to "The Strip" in Pittsburgh on Sept. 6. The two-hour walking tour, which also includes historical information on the area, is a Thursday mid-day outing of the area's multicultural eateries and features samplings of Italian pastries, Mediterranean specialties, European meats, and French bread. Shopping time in the area follows the tour. Cost is $60 due by Aug. 1. Seating is limited to the first 40 registrants. To register call 330-337-7215.

Sports Camp, Lava Lava Island offered

SALEM - High Power Sports Camp and Lava Lava Island are being offered to children from 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 16-19 at the First Friends Church, 1028 Jennings Ave.

High Power Sports Camp is open to students in first through sixth grade. Sports options include basketball, soccer and volleyball with instructional drills and scrimmaging.

Preschool children (ages 4-kindergarten completed) are invited to attend Lava Lava Island. All activities are free of charge. To register call 330-332-0001 or visit www.salemfirstfriends.org.

SonWorld Adventure Park Bible school

Mid-Summer Night's Dream in Columbiana

COLUMBIANA - Men of Faith will present its Mid-Summer Night's Dream at 6 p.m. July 28 at Das Dutch Village Inn in Columbiana. The theme is "One Nation Under God." Featured speakers are Matt and Melanie Miller of Ashland. Musical selections will be provided by Mrs. Miller, the former Melanie Murphy, a singer, dancer and inspirational speaker who has spent the last several years criss-crossing the state of Ohio sharing her talents with people of all ages. North Lima Preschool enters 38th year

NORTH LIMA - North Lima Preschool is entering its 38th year of operation at Mount Olivet United Church of Christ at 410 W. South Range Road.
