Eric and Michelle Shasteen of Salem are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Beth Shasteen, to Tyler Bender. He is the son of Samuel and Ginger Bender of Salem.
The bride-to-be graduated from Salem High School in 2006 and received her bachelor's degree in Music Education from Mount Union College in 2010. She is currently employed as an elementary music teacher.
Her fiance, also a 2006 graduate of Salem High School, received his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Youngstown State University in 2010. He is currently employed at Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals.
