The engagement of Courtney Shea Pilch and Vito Joseph Abruzzino is being announced by her parents, Louis and Robin Pilch of Salem. He is the son of John and Phyllis Abruzzino of Niles.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Salem High School and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Mount Union and a master's degree in school counseling from Walsh University. She is employed as a school counselor at Boardman Glenwood Middle School.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Warren John F. Kennedy High School and earned a bachelor's degree and a doctor of juris prudence degree from West Virginia University. He is employed as a Judge Advocate for the United States Army stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C.
The couple is planning a sunset beach side ceremony in July on Sanibel Island, Fla. Invitations will be issued for the adult reception to be held in September at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.
