Steve and Pam Commons of Edmond, Okla., are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Linn, to Joseph Michael Billet. He is the son of Andy and Bobbie Billet of Leetonia.
The couple will exchange vows in a double-ring ceremony on June 9 at the Lakewood Oaks Golf Club in Lee's Summit, Mo.
The bride-to-be received a bachelor's of science degree in education from Emporia State University and teaches math at Shawnee Heights High School in Topeka, Kan. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in school counseling.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from Leetonia High School in 2004 and from Westminster College in 2008 with a degree in criminal justice. He is a sergeant in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Leavenworth, Kan.
