LISBON - Alissa J. McTheny, 35, Henry Street, Toronto, pleaded guilty Thursday to attempted illegal possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs. She was sentenced to up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center with a three-year intervention plan. According to court documents, McTheny had chemicals for manufacture of methamphetamine in her possession on Oct. 19, 2010.
Terry L. Buckel Jr., 43, Kinnsey Avenue, East Liverpool, stipulated Thursday he violated his community control on a previous 2007 conviction of possession of cocaine. He was sentenced to six months in prison with credit for 157 days in jail.
Matthew A. Grate, pleaded guilty Thursday to complicity to breaking and entering. Court documents state Grate along with two other people broke into a vacant home on Fairfield School Road, where they stole a furnace and refrigerator last July. He faces up to 12 months in prison and a $2,500 fine. Sentencing was set for June 29.
Thomas R. Pittenger, 44, Ohio Avenue, East Liverpool, was sentenced to six months in the county jail after being found in violation of his community control for a previous conviction of non support of dependents.
Danny D. Brand, 48, Y and O Road, East Liverpool, stipulated he was in violation of his community control from a 2009 possession of drugs (cocaine) conviction. Brand was sentenced to nine months in prison with credit for 141 in jail.
