- A North Street, Beloit, man reported at 8:56 a.m. Wednesday someone loosened the lug nuts on three of his vehicle's wheels.

- Mark Midose, with Precision Geophysical Inc. of Millersburg, reported at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday they were doing seismic testing in the area and sometime overnight someone took two of their receiving units, which are valued at $10,000. One had been located about 2,000 feet from Lewis and Smith roads, while the other was about 4,600 feet east of that location. A 1000-foot cable was also cut in half. The cable and a rack of sensors taken are valued at $700 and $150, respectively.

- A state Route 558, Leetonia, man reported at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday he received a cellular phone bill last month and paid it, but he said he does not own a cell phone. Now he has received a bill from Credit One Bank for $702 for a Visa card he also does not have.

- A state Route 45, Wellsville, woman reported at 2:29 a.m. Wednesday she was at her boyfriend's home and they had argued. The boyfriend allegedly pushed her to the ground and held her down in front of her son and his friend. She got up and packed her bags. The boyfriend left before deputies arrived. She said she did not want to pursue criminal charges.

- A Bowman Road, Alliance, man reported at 9:33 p.m. Tuesday he saw a suspicious car in a pull-off on South Mahoning Avenue. He kept driving down Bowman Road and nearly struck a woman standing in the middle of the road waving her hands. When he turned around he could not find the woman, nor the other vehicle. However, he did find a woman's coat, shoes, belt and wallet laying in the middle of South Mahoning. Deputies were able to contact the woman whose ID was found in the items. The woman reported she was assaulted by a man she knows while southbound on South Mahoning. She had jumped out of the vehicle. A dispatcher contacted Stark County Sheriff about her report, which would have occurred in their county.

- A Bill Smith Road, Wellsville, woman reported at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday a truck on jack stands had the engine running on Cannons Mill Road, but no one was around. Deputies found the driver, who said he went to the house to change his clothes.

- A Blacks Road, Lisbon, woman reported at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday her alarm went off at about 2:15 p.m. and she noticed one of her windows partially open.

- Kandy Biser, Bye Road, East Palestine, reported at 6:03 p.m. Tuesday she has a protection order against her son and he is at his father's house, which is in front of hers. Biser further reported the son was standing in the yard between the two properties calling her names. Deputies found the son in the driveway loading things into his car. Deputies explained the protection order to him, including the part which said he is to have no contact with her, including through another person. While deputies were still there, the son asked his mother's boyfriend to give her a message from him. Jonathan Weaver, 24, Bye Road, was charged with violating a protection order.

- A Failor Street, East Palestine, man reported at 8:29 p.m. Tuesday he was walking down his street when his neighbor stopped his vehicle and pointed something shiny at him. He was uncertain what the object was, but he was concerned.

- A unters Camp Road, Lisbon, woman reported at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday she found the door to her in-laws' garage had been pried open. The dead bolt was broken. She did not find where anything was missing or disturbed.
