Ron and Judie Berger will be honored on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house reception April 28 at the Salem Elks Lodge in the Grill Room. The reception is being hosted by their family, with friends and relatives welcome from 4 to 7 p.m.
Mr. Berger and his wife, the former Judie Wickersham, were married April 8, 1962, at the Presbyterian Church in Hanoverton by the Rev. John P. Borter. Ron is the son of the late Ernest and Ida Berger. Judie is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gordie Wickersham.
The Bergers are the parents of a daughter, Debbie Miller and Marty Ward of Salem; two sons, Chad and Carrie Berger of Homeworth and Matt and Liza Berger of Salem; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
They are members of the Winona Evangelical Friends Church and Ron is a member of the Salem Elks Lodge. He is a self-employed farmer and an employee of Butler township and she is retired.
The Berger family will be celebrating together at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, this summer.
