SALEM- Alice Rose Hank, 79, of Wilmington, Ohio, formerly of Salem, died at 5:37 a.m. Friday at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.
She was born April 12, 1932, in Alliance, a daughter of the late Dan and Helen (Streza) Codrea. She lived in the Salem area for 45 years and worked with her husband at O K Tool and Die as a secretary before moving to Lehigh Acres, Fla., for 12 years, then to Wilmington for the last six months of her life.
Mrs. Hank was a former member of First United Methodist Church in Salem and Damascus, and a member of the Church of the Cross in Lehigh Acres, Fla.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Hank, whom she married June 14, 1952; two daughters, Annette Karen Hank of Columbus and Jill Marie (Daniel) Hendershott of Wilmington; and a son, Walter Alan (Melissa) Hank of Salem. Other survivors include a sister, Helen (Nick) Stoia of Alliance, and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Damascus. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until service on Wednesday.
