HANOVERTON-Margaret Gertrude Clemens Syx, 82, of Hanoverton, died Wednesday at Salem Community Hospital.
She was born April 5, 1929, in Kensington, the daughter of the late Daniel B. and Anna (Bosel) Clemens.
Mrs Syx was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Brian J. (Debra) Adams of Sarasota, Fla.; three sons, William K. (Deborah) Syx of Guilford Lake, Lester C. Syx of Hanoverton and Terry L . (Becky) Syx of Salem; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Eldon Syx, who died in June 1999; and a son, Michael W. Syx, who died in December 1976.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.n. Tuesday at Grove Hill Cemetery. Her grandson, Michael B. Syx, will officiate.
Arrangements were handled by the Maple Cotton Funeral Home.
