Columbus man pleads guilty to drug trafficking

LISBON - Jonny M. Ferguson-Boykins, 28, Columbus, pleaded guilty Monday in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to two counts trafficking in drugs. He faces up to 48 months in prison and a $12,500 fund at a May 25 sentencing hearing. According to court documents, Ferguson-Boykins sold four grams of crack cocaine in January 2007 for $300 and 13.3 grams in February 2008 for $1,500.

Nathan D. Russell, 27, last known address Penn Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty Monday to four counts of receiving stolen property for checks belonging to Nancy Russell in his possession in December 2010. He faces up to 48 months in prison and a $10,000 fine at a May 25 sentencing hearing.

In a motion filed by Assistant Prosecutor Ryan Weikart, a charge of breaking and entering against Brian K. Gibbs was dismissed as part of a plea agreement where Gibbs agreed to plead guilty to receiving stolen property.
