SALEM - Charles M. Hull, 84, of Washingtonville Road, died at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday at the Vibra Hospital of Mahoning Valley.
Mr. Hull was born Aug. 25, 1927 in Millport, a son of the late Floyd M. and Julia Ann (McPherson) Hull.
He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He was a carpenter and started work at the Ravenna Arsenal after leaving the Army. He worked for various contractors in the Mahoning Valley and also built homes in the Youngstown, Boardman and Salem area. He founded Midwestern Builders Inc. in 1973 and retired from there in 1992.
Mr. Hull was a member of the Canfield Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Lois (Wilson) Hull.
He is survived by a daughter, Debra (Brad) Gamble of Westerville; sons, Cary (Kate) Hull of Salem and Robert Hull of Washington, D.C.; brother, Roy (Verna) Hull of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Bowald officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Woodland Cemetery, Salineville.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
