Mr. and Mrs. W. Ray and Linda (Morris) Hertel of Leetonia were honored on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary at a family dinner on March 3.
The Hertels were united in marriage on March 3, 1962, in Salem.
Mr. Hertel retired in 2002 after 23 years from Consumers National Bank in Salem where he was the branch manager.

Mrs. Hertel worked as a clerk at the former Roose Drug Store in Leetonia from 1979 until it closed in 1993.
They have two sons, Jay and his wife Susan who reside Columbiana with their children, Zach, Josh and Abby; and Mark of Santa Ana, Calif.
