Sebring 72, Leetonia 56

LEETONIA - Sebring went on the road and picked up a league win 72-56 against Leetonia. Corey Baia had a game-high 21 points and added three steals. Dakota Wager added 20 points, 23 rebounds and four blocks, and Jake Hubbs had 10 points and five assists.

For Leetonia, Cody Stokes matched the game-high 21 points. Luke Janci added 10.

Sebring also won the jayvee game 51-42. Leading the Trojans was Dylan Mick wiht 23.

Sebring (7-7, 5-6 ITCL Tier 2) travels to Southern Tuesday.

Leetonia (4-12, 2-10 ITCL Tier 2) hosts Jackson-Milton.

Western Reserve 58, Wellsville 55

BERLIN CENTER - Western Reserve erased a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter Friday to beat visiting Wellsville in an ITCL Tier 2 tilt 58-55.

Wellsville lead the Blue Devils 50-40 entering the final frame but were outscored 18-5 in the final stanza.

Leading the Blue Devils was Tom Benyo with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Jeff Clegg added 13 points, and Payton Snyder tallied eight.

For Wellsville, Nate Scott had a game-high 22 points.

Western Reserve (10-6, 7-5 ITCL Tier 2) travels to Lowellville Tuesday.

Wellsville (9-6, 6-4 ITCL Tier 2) travels to McDonald.

HANOVERTON - United jumped out to a 22-8 lead and held on to beat Columbiana 53-48 for their first win of the season.

Both teams lone victories came against one another.

Leading the Golden Eagles was Brett Albright with a game-high 26 points. Brandon Miller added 14.

For Columbiana, Bryce Franken had 11 points. Jake DeJong and Kyle Bryan had 10 points each.

United won the jayvee game 27-15. Andrew Martin had eight points.

United (1-14, 1-10 ITCL Tier 1) plays Tuesday at Mineral Ridge.

Columbiana (1-16, 1-11 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Springfield.

South Range 48, Crestview 42

COLUMBIANA - South Range kept it's ITCL Tier 1 hopes alive with a 48-42 win at Crestview. The Raiders remain one back of league-leading Springfield with four league games remaining.

Leading South Range was Brandon Pluchinsky and Dan Good with 11 points each. Andy Lacefield added 10.

For Crestview, C.J. Collins had 13 points and 11 rebounds. Tom Oliver added eight points and five steals.

Crestview won the jayvee affair 54-43. Robert Logan had 16 points.

South Range (13-3, 10-2 ITCL Tier 1) hosts East Palestine Tuesday.

Crestview (11-6, 7-5 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Lisbon.

CANTON - West Branch used a strong defensive effort to beat Canton South 41-37 Friday.

Leading the Warriors was Jalen Shelton with 10 points. Matt Latham added eight points and six steals, and Scott Muckleroy had eight points.

South won the jayvee game 43-24.

West Branch (8-6, 5-6 NBC) host Minerva Tuesday.
