Sebring 51, Lowellville 43

LOWELLVILLE - Sebring bounced back from a blowout loss against unbeaten LaBrae on the weekend with an upset of sorts at Lowellville 51-43.

Leading the Trojans was Corey Baia with six points, seven rebounds and five steals. Dakota Wagner had 10 points and seven rebounds, and Mitch Baddeley added 10 points.

For Lowellville, Dean Donatelli had 14 points.

Lowellville won the jayvee game 35-26. Dylan Mick had 11 for the Trojans.

Sebring (5-6, 3-5 ITCL Tier 2) hosts McDonald Friday.

Lowellville (7-7, 5-4 ITCL Tier 2) plays Friday at league-leading Jackson-Milton.

BERLIN CENTER - McDonald kept the pressure on Western Reserve Tuesday and it led to a 58-42 road victory.

Leading McDonald was Stephan Polatino with a game-high 25 points. Matt Seitz added 17 points.

Leading the Blue Devils was Jeff Clegg with 16 points. Dalton Korda added 14 points and six boards.

McDonald also won the jayvee game 51-40.

Western Reserve (7-6, 4-5 ITCL Tier 2) travels to Southern Friday.

McDonald (6-5, 5-3 ITCL Tier 2) travels to Sebring.

LEETONIA - Southern held off a late rally by Leetonia Tuesday for a 58-53 road win.

Leading the Indians was Dylan Ketchum with a team-high 21 points. J.J. Napierkowski added 12.

For Leetonia, Cody Stokes had a team-high 21 points. Ian Sevenich had 13 points, and Brandon Stecker had six points and 11 rebounds. Brandon Dattilio also added eight points and three assists.

Southern won the jayvee contest.

Southern (8-4, 4-3 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Western Reserve Friday.

Leetonia (4-9, 2-7 ITCL Tier 2) travels to Wellsville.

HANOVERTON - Springfield kept its lead on Tier 1 of the ITCL Tuesday with a 68-37 win over United.

Leading the Tigers was Tom Mastran with a game-high 17 points. Nick Russell added 11.

Leading the Eagles was Caleb Conser with 11 points. Garrett Beech added nine points, and Brett Albright had six points and six rebounds.

Springfield also won the jayvee affair 56-28. Joe Wrask had 13 for the Tigers.

Springfield (11-2, 8-1 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Mineral Ridge Friday.

United (0-12, 0-8 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Crestview.

LISBON - Lisbon held off Columbiana for a 56-43 win Tuesday.

Leading the Blue Devils was Zach Rovnak with a game-high 29 points. Drew Sweeney had four points, eight rebounds and four steals.

For the Clippers, Jake DeJong had 19 points.

Lisbon also won the jayvee contest 75-46. Corey Brammer had 24 points for the Blue Devils. Huffman had 25 for Columbiana.

CARROLLTON - Carrollton and West Branch managed only a combined 60 points in defensive effort that saw the Warriors of Beloit fall 33-27.

Leading Carrollton was Stephen Erickson with 15 points.

For West Branch, Scott Muckleroy had nine points. Austen Rekolt had five points, four assists and three rebounds.

Carrollton also came away with a win in the jayvee game 48-35. Matt Meiter had 10 for West Branch.

West Branch (7-5, 4-5 NBC) hosts unbeaten Alliance on Friday.

Alliance improved to 14-0 with a win over Louisville Tuesday.
