Marcilynn Jo Burgett weds Anthony Robert McIntyre

Skyland Pines Golf Club in Canton was the site of the Sept. 3 wedding of Marcilynn Jo Burgett and Anthony Robert McIntyre.

The bride is the daughter of Wesley and Mary Jo Burgett, 4992 Township Road 290, Hammondsville.

The bridegroom's parents are Robert and Linda McIntyre, 7679 Giddings Road, Rootstown.

Pastor Thomas E. Allmon of Hanoverton officiated at the couple's double-ring ceremony. Nuptial music was provided by Mike Turnow of Louisville.

Escorted by her father, and given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attired in an original design by Oleg Cassini. The ballroom-style gown in ivory satin was enhanced with a sweetheart neckline with champagne lace embellished with pearls and Swarovksi crystals falling into a cathedral train.

Her single fingertip veil was embellished with a pearl and Swarovski crystal edging, and attached to a Swarovski crystal and pearl tiara.

She carried a bouquet of orange leonides roses, miniature calla lilies and peach astromeria hand-tied with ivory satin ribbon.

Elizabeth Mihalcoe of Virginia Beach, Va., was the matron of honor attired in persimmon.

Bridesmaids dressed in persimmon were Rebecca Arter of Canton, Ashley Marsh of North Canton, Crissy Arp of Copley, the bridegroom's sister; and Cortni Arp of Copley, the bridegroom's niece.

The program attendant was Ashlee Rose of Nicholasville, Ky.

The bridegroom's father was the best man.

Groomsmen were Joseph Gregory and Benjamin Gregory of Newton Falls, Thomas Arp of Copley, the bridegroom's brother-in-law; and Shane Arp of Copley, the bridegroom's nephew.

Cory Arp of Copley, the bridegroom's nephew, was the ring bearer.

Approximately 250 guests attended the reception at the golf club.

The couple toured southern Ireland during their honeymoon. They are employed by Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus, he as a video technician, and she as an elephant caretaker/handler.

The bride graduated from Kent State University.

The bridegroom attends ITT Tech.

A rehearsal dinner was held on Sept. 2 at the golf club, hosted by the bridegroom's parents.
