Carrollton 66, Salem 10

SALEM - The Salem Quakers took to the mat Thursday night and fell in NBC action to Carrollton 66-10. Storm Haueter, Thane Sevey and Scott Lodge all picked up wins by decision for the Quakers.

Salem is back in action Saturday for the Leonard Invitational at Jackson-Milton and travels Thursday to West Branch.

Western Reserve 67, Wellsville 48

WELLSVILLE - Western Reserve's Colleen Kennehan poured in a career-high 31 points and tallied a triple-double with 11 steals and 10 assists to lead the Lady Blue Devils past Wellsville 67-48.

Linley Mamonis added 12 points, six rebounds and two blocks, and Hannah Mowery added 12 points and four assists.

Western Reserve also won the jayvee contest 39-30. Paige Ewing led the team with nine points.

The Lady Blue Devils (8-0, 5-0 ITCL Tier 2) set up a league showdown with Lowellville in Berlin Center Monday.

Wellsville (3-5, 3-2 ITCL Tier 2) hosts McDonald.

NEW MIDDLETOWN - Springfield outlasted Lisbon 35-31. Leading the Lady Tigers was Baylee Felger with 14 points.

Lisbon's Pam Pierce had a game-high 17.

Springfield also won the jayvee game 35-31. Kennedy Richey had 22 points for the Lady Tigers (3-6).

Lisbon hosts Crestview Monday.

CANFIELD - South Range is beginning to find its footing as the team dropped Crestview 47-45 Thursday. Leading the Lady Raiders was Alexis Naples with a game-high 18 points, eight rebounds, four assists and five steals. Kelsey Maynard added 14 points, and Kristin Robinson had eight.

For Crestview, Ashley Harrison had 17 points. Morgan Newbauer added 10.

South Range also won the jayvee contest 37-21.

South Range (4-5, 3-2 ITCL Tier 1) plays Monday at East Palestine.

Crestview (8-3, 2-3 ITCL Tier 1) travels to Lisbon.

Columbiana vs. Wellsville

COLUMBIANA - The Columbiana eighth grade beat Wellsville 49-14. Leading the Lady Clippers was Elise Hammond with nine points. Hayli Davidson and Brynn Pennell added eight each.

Columbiana's seventh grade also beat Wellsville 49-14. Pancake led with eight points. Williams added six.

Columbiana plays at Southern on Monday.

United vs. Southern

HANOVERTON - The United eighth grade girls beat Southern Local 25-10. Lauren Beech and Kassie Chestnut led the Eagles with six points each. Shanna Miller and Morgan Smith also chipped in four apiece. Southern was lead by Mickenze Mosti with four points.
