Crestview 67, Columbiana 34

COLUMBIANA - Crestview didn't have much trouble with rival Columbiana Friday winning 67-34. Leading the Rebels was C.J. Collins with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Nate Climo added 10 points, and Matt May had seven points and five steals.

For Columbiana, Jake DeJong had 14 points.

The Rebels also won the jayvee contest 69-15. Enzo Locci had 13 points.

Crestview (2-0) plays Tuesday at East Palestine.

Columbiana (0-2) hosts Lisbon.

Springfield 68, South Range 66

CANFIELD - Springfield's Ronnie Rogers hit a 3-pointer to send the team's game with South Range into overtime after a furious late rally by the Raiders. South Range missed a shot at the buzzer in overtime and the Tigers escaped with a 68-66 win. The Tigers led 52-38 going into the final frame.

Leading Springfield was was Tommy Mastran with a game-high 26 points. Nick Russell had 12 points and 10 boards, and Rogers added 12 points.

For South Range, Dan Good had 20 points, Brandon Pluchinsky had 19, and Andy Lacefield added 11.

South Range won the jayvee game 46-41. Ross Stoffer had 16 points.

Springfield (1-1, 1-0 ITCL Tier 1) hosts United Tuesday.

South Range (1-1, 0-1 ITCL Tier 1) hosts Mineral Ridge.

HANOVERTON - East Palestine got off to an 18-6 first quarter lead and didn't look back beating United 48-32. Leading the Bulldogs was Jake DiCello with 11 points, five assists and five steals. Cody Stewart added 10, and Zak Brockman had eight. Austen Reiser added six rebounds.

For United, Brett Albright had a game-high 15 points.

East Palestine also won the jayvee game 34-18. Billy Bibby and Zak May-Robb both had 10 points.

East Palestine (1-1) hosts Crestview Tuesday.

United (0-3) plays at Springfield.

LISBON - Lisbon defeated Mineral Ridge 69-60 Friday in ITCL Tier 1 action. Leading the Blue Devils was Zach Rovnak with a game-high 25 points. He also added six rebounds and eight assists. Jake Borg had 13 points, and C.J. Dawson had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

For Mineral Ridge, Chris Kirby had 19 points.

Mineral Ridge won the jayvee game 68-36. Corey Brammer had 11 points for the Blue Devils.

Lisbon (2-1, 1-0 ITCL Tier 1) plays Tuesday at Columbiana.

Mineral Ridge (1-2, 0-1 ITCL Tier 1) travels to South Range.

NORTH JACKSON - For the first time since 1995 and for only the fourth time in school history, Jackson-Milton beat Sebring 49-37. The Blue Jays were led by Zach Nagy with 14 points. Brennan Morrison added 10 points.

For Sebring, Corey Baia had 18 points. The Blue Jays held Sebring's Dakota Wagner to just two points on the night.

Jackson-Milton (1-2, 1-0 ITCL Tier 2) will play at Wellsville Tuesday.

Sebring (1-1, 0-1 ITCL Tier 2) hosts Lowellville.
