MARLINGTON - The Salem Lady Quakers won the Northeastern Buckeye Conference outright Tuesday by defeating Marlington in four games 25-23, 23-25, 25-14, 25-19. Leading Salem was Cassie Davidson with 15 kills, a block and six digs. Alexis Smith added four aces, six digs and 15 kills. Lindsey Foster had eight kills and five blocks. Katherine Stiff had four aces and 22 assists. Becca Devlin had eight kills and three blocks, and Kayleigh Null added an ace, a kill and 17 assists, and two blocks.
The jayvee team won in two 25-22, 25-17. Leading Salem (17-3) was Camrin
Costal with seven kills and two aces. Carson Herron added seven assists, two kills and two aces, and Megan Lehwald had 10 assists and an ace. Salem (19-1, 13-0 NBC) hosts Boardman tonight.
