Doug and Linda Shonce of Salem are announcing the engagement and forthcoming spring wedding of their daughter, Rachel Shonce, to Joseph Sabella. He is the son of Gary and Tracey Sabella of Minerva.
The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of West Branch High School. She also graduated in 2011 from Kent State University with an associate's of arts degree.
The prospective bridegroom, a 2005 graduate of Minerva High School, also graduated in 2009 from Johnson Bible College with a bachelor's of Biblical studies in youth ministry and preaching. He is the pastor at the First Christian Church in Augusta.
