Bill and Madelyn Knepper of 1824 N. Ellsworth Ave., Salem, are announcing the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mariah Webb Knepper, to Wesley Durham Roj. He is the son of Bill Roj and MaryLynn Durham of Shaker Heights.
The couple's private wedding ceremony will be held in August at St. Ann Church in Cleveland Heights.
Invitations will be issued for the reception to follow at the bridegroom's parents' home.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Salem High School. She received a bachelor's of science in organizational communication from Ohio University and currently pursuing a degree in nursing at Cuyahoga Community College. She is a manager at Murry Hill Bolt and Spool in the Little Italy District of Cleveland Heights.
Her fiance, a 2000 graduate of Hawken School in Gates Mills, received a bachelor's of science degree in English from Kenyon College. He also holds a master's in professional writing from the University of Southern California. He plans to pursue his Phd in non-fiction creative writing this coming fall at Ohio University.
