Al and Mary Lou Drotleff of Columbiana celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 13.
The couple's children are Don, Susan and Mary Ann.
The Drotleffs were united in marriage in 1951 at the old First Christian Church in Columbiana. Their wedding party was comprised of Kaye Evans, maid of honor; Shirley Drotleff, bridesmaid, Mr. Drotleff's sister; Charles Lentz, best man; and groomsmen, Fred Drotleff, Mr. Drotleff's brother; and Duane Thomas.
Mr. Drotleff is the son of Michael and Katherine Drotleff and an Army veteran.
Mrs. Drotleff is the daughter of Don and Leona Zellers.
The couple built their lives in Columbiana raising their three children, with Mr. Drotleff working at and eventually managing the A & P grocery store (where the couple first met). They also eventually owned and managed the Golden Dawn grocery store in Columbiana and previous to that, owned and operated the former Crawford's Market in Columbiana.
The Drotleffs are members of the First Christian Church in Columbiana.
Family members also wishing congratulations are Don's wife, Kathy, and Mary Ann's husband, Jon Stephens, and grandchildren, Grant and Kit Stephens.
