Mrs. Elaine "Penny" (Penrod) Getz will celebrate her 90th birthday on May 26. Mrs. Getz was born in Maximo and spent her childhood in the Alliance area. She married Charles Lester Getz in 1944 and had three children, Gary Getz, Mark Getz and Karen Adams, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
