Ronald and Angela Edwards of Brunswick are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Linda Edwards, to Samuel Duckworth. He is the son of Philip and Deborah Duckworth of Salem.
The future bride is a 2004 graduate of Brunswick High School. She earned a bachelor's of arts degree in interpersonal and public communication from the University of Akron and currently works as a pre-kindergarten teacher at Kindercare Learning Center.
The prospective bridegroom, a 2004 graduate of Salem High School, holds a bachelor's of technical management degree from DeVry University. He is currently employed in shipping and receiving at McMaster-Carr.
A May 21 wedding is planned in Fairlawn.
