Wesley and Mary Jo Burgett of 4992 Township Road 290, Hammondsville, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Marcilynn Jo Burgett, and Anthony Robert McIntyre. He is the son of Robert and Linda McIntyre of 7679 Giddings Road, Rootstown.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Lisbon David Anderson High School and a 2006 graduate Kent State University. She is employed by Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus.
The prospective bridegroom graduated from Newton Falls High School and is currently attending ITT. He is employed by Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus.
The couple's wedding and reception will be held on Sept. 3, 2011, at Skyland Pines Golf Club in Canton.
