Whitney Loraine Knight became the bride of Brandon Michael Moore on Oct. 9 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park.
The bride is the daughter of Jesse and Melissa Knight. The bridegroom's parents are Jon Moore and Melissa Crowl.
The Rev. Wanda Wilson officiated the couple's 10:30 a.m. ceremony.
The bride, escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, wore an elegant white strapless, satin beaded corset with a cuff neckline, and beaded tulle ball gown skirt. A crystal barrette secured her elegant two-tier elbow-length veil with a scalloped and beaded edge. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of hot pink roses, light pink roses, hot pink carnations, white carnations, and white lisianthus wrapped in white satin ribbon.
Kylie Crowl of Salem, the bridegroom's sister, served as maid of honor in a gown of watermelon pink.
In matching gowns were bridesmaids, Samantha Baker of Guilford Lake, and Allycia Cross of East Palestine, both cousins of the bride. The flower girl was Katelyn Ketchum, the bridegroom's cousin.
Danny Scott of New Waterford performed the duties of best man.
Groomsmen were Josh Ketchum of Salineville and Steven Ketchum of East Liverpool, both cousins of the bridegroom. The ring bearer was Brady Ketchum, the bridegroom's cousin.
Ushers were Dylan Ketchum of Salineville, the bridegroom's cousin, and Chris Kissinger of Austintown.
Timothy Ketchum of Hanoverton, the bridegroom's cousin, presided at the guestbook, and handed out programs.
Approximately 125 guests attended the reception at the Elks Lodge in Salem.
A honeymoon trip to California is planned for the summer of 2011.
The couple resides in Akron.
The rehearsal dinner, hosted by Neal and Janie Crowl, the bridegroom's step-grandparents, was held at Caffe Capri in Boardman.
