Marissa Mae Bruno became the bride of Joshua Edward Martin on July 24 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown.
The bride is the daughter of Bennett Bruno and Lynn Bruno, both of East Palestine. The bridegroom's parents are Jeff and Helen Martin of East Liverpool.
Father Robert Bruno, the bride's uncle, officiated the 2:30 p.m. ceremony. Rosemary Martin, the bridegroom's grandmother, served as the reader.
The bride, escorted by her father, and given in marriage by her parents, wore a strapless, drop-waisted gown with a sweetheart neckline, beaded bodice, coupled with an organza skirt of jeweled pinups and a chapel train. She carried a jeweled clutch bouquet of white Cymbidium orchids.
Jessica Costa of Columbus was the matron of honor in a gown of clover green.
In matching gowns were bridesmaids, Erika Walkosky of Canton, the bridegroom's sister-in-law; Ashley Martin of East Liverpool; and Melanie Lodyn of Boardman.
Faith Martin, the bridegroom's niece. and Hannah Costa, served as flower girls.
Eric Martin of East Liverpool served his bother as best man.
Groomsmen were Nate Martin, the bridegroom's brother; Dave Murdoch of Columbus; and Mike Oberle of East Palestine, the bride's cousin.
A reception followed at Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek Park in Youngstown.
The couple resides at Lake Tomahawk in Negley following their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic.
