Whitney Loraine Knight and Brandon Michael Moore are announcing their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jesse and Melissa Knight of Lisbon. A 2005 graduate of Southern Local High School, she is pursuing a bachelor's degree of psychology at Kent State University.
The prospective bridegroom, son of Jon and Tina Moore of Salineville and Rick and Melissa Crowl of Salem, is a 2008 graduate of United Local High School. He is pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at the University of Akron.
The couple's wedding ceremony is scheduled Oct. 9.
