Mr. and Mrs. Terry Blickensderfer of Homeworth will be honored on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house reception on July 31 at the Reading Church of the Brethren, 25418 Georgetown Road, Homeworth.
The reception is being hosted by their children, with friends and relatives welcome from 1 to 4 p.m.
The former Norma Johnson and Mr. Blickensderfer were married Aug. 6, 1960, at the Reading Church of the Brethren, by the Rev. Jacob Zigler.
The Blickensderfers are the parents of two daughters, Deanne and Cameron Charles of Watseka, Ill., Brenda and James Smallwood of Lisbon; two sons Brian Blickensderfer of Scotts Bluff, Neb., Brad and Amy Blickensderfer of Homeworth, and 12 grandchildren.
Mr. Blickensderfer is a retired dairy farmer and currently a part-time sales representative for Holmes Ag Service in Mount Eaton. He is active in district Ruritan and local Ruritan club.
Mrs. Blickensderfer is retired from County Line Veterinary Service and volunteers for two civic organizations. They are active members of the Reading Church of the Brethren, and enjoy grandchildren and family.
