Johnna Marie Emch becomes bride of Jeremy James

Johnna Marie Emch and Jeremy James exchanged wedding vows on Feb. 24 in Lisbon. The couple then had a marriage blessing ceremony on April 10 at St. John's Lutheran Church at Stony Ridge. Pastor Daniel Beaudoin officiated at the couple's 12:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Rick and Kathy Emch of Pemberville. The bridegroom is the son of Kathy Timmons of Salem and Jim Timmons of Newell, W.Va.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a floor-length gown designed by Bonnie. The white, French taffeta gown was enhanced with spaghetti straps, a dropped waist, and a bodice and skirt adorned with delicate embroidery, beads, sequins, and crystals. The gown featured a matching detachable semicathedral train. Her illusion veil was also edged in crystals.

Bobby Jo Pleban of New Galilee, Pa., was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Laura Schaller of Columbus, a cousin of the bride; Jenny Snyder of North Baltimore; Joni Childress of Coshoctan; Tara Farmer and Tara Herron of Salem. All attendants appeared in floor-length gowns in clover green satin, cinched to the side, with spaghetti straps, and complimented by a crystal brooch.

The flower girl was Alexis Timmons of Salem, the bridegroom's daughter. She wore a floor-length white gown, with crystals on the bodice and skirt, and complemented with a bow and buttons on the back.

Jake Aegerter of Salem served as best man.

Groomsmen were Jake Emch of Pemberville, the bride's brother; Shawn Timmons of Salem, the bridegroom's brother; Grant Cope of Salem; Brent Raber of Salem and Todd Bricker of Beloit.

Ring bearers were Luke and Logan Brinker of Perrysburg. The Bible bearer was Owen Brinker of Perrysburg.

Sharon Bitter served as organist and pianist was Brecken Schaller, the bride's cousin.

A 6:30 p.m. reception was held at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.

The bride graduated from Eastwood High School in 2005. She is pursuing a career in nursing.

The bridegroom graduated from United High School in 2003. He is employed by Hanover Farms and operates the family farm.

The couple resides at 4483 McCracken Road, Salem.
