PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Thomas "Matthew" McKim, 34, of Pittsburgh, died at 3 p.m. Sunday at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh following a brief illness.
He was born Feb. 15, 1976 in New Brighton, Pa., a son of Thomas L. and Sabrina Carol Katchmar McKim and had lived in Pittsburgh the past 16 years coming from Enon Valley, Pa.
He worked as a supervisor for Walgreens Drug Store in Bethel Park, Pa. He had also worked for UMPC, Allegheny General and the Dialysis Clinic in Oakland, PA.
He was a member of the First Church of Christ in East Palestine.
He is survived by his parents of Enon Valley; and a brother and his fiancee, Michael J. McKim and Ashley Burkett of East Palestine.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine, with Mr. Robert Helbeck, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Little Beaver Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
