Jennifer Alicia Parfel became the bride of Michael Andrew Witmer on May 1 at St. Jude Church in Columbiana.
The bride is the daughter of Duane Parfel and David and Sandy Williams.
The bridegroom is the son of Margie and Rich Witmer.
Father Tom Ziegler officiated the couple's 1:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride, escorted by her fathers, wore a strapless white gown with pearls and pink floral embroidery and pink ballet slippers. A tiara of pearls and rhinestones secured her waist-length veil that was accented with crystals and pearls. She carried a bouquet of pink flowers.
Meghan Witmer, the bridegroom's sister, served as maid of honor in a watermelon pink strapless bubble dress. Dana Parfel, the bride's sister in-law, served as matron of honor. Nicole Witmer, the bridegroom's sister -in-law, and Elizabeth Palette, served as bridesmaids wearing matching pink dresses.
The flower girl, Isabelle Parfel, the bride's niece, wore a simple white dress with rhinestones.
Richard Witmer, the bridegroom's brother, performed the duties of best man and Dan Houck, lead groomsman.
Groomsmen were Nick George and Matt Fullerton. Ushers were Chris Parfel, the bride's brother, and Chris Bader.
Ring bears were Ethan Davis, the bridegroom's godson; Clay Parfel, the bride's nephew; and Cyrus Witmer, the bridegroom's nephew.
Lauran and Andrew McCarty, the bridegroom's cousins, presided at the guest book.
A reception, attended by approximately 275 guests, was held at the St. Jude Hall.
After a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple resides in Lisbon.
