Scott Alan Powell Sr. of Salem is announcing the engagement and forthcoming early summer wedding of his daughter, Amanda Nichole Powell, to Michael Allen Baddeley. He is the son of Barry and Linda Baddeley of Fifth Street, Salem.
The bride-to-be, a 2000 graduate of David Anderson High School, is currently employed at Dunkin' Donuts.
The prospective bridegroom attended Salem High School and is employed at Duo-Corp in North Lima.
The couple's open, double-ring ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. June 19 at the First Baptist Church in Salem.
An open reception follows at the CIO Hall on Prospect Street.
