Fellman named president of ADAEO

BOARDMAN-The Automobile Dealers Association of Eastern Ohio, which represents new car and truck dealers in Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties, announces that Robert Fellman has been elected president of the board of trustees for 2010-11 at their recent annual meeting.

Fellman is the owner of Boardman Subaru in Boardman. He began his career in the automobile business in 1988, and purchased his first dealership in 2001. Fellman subsequently opened Boardman Imports in 2004, and acquired the Subaru franchise in 2005. He has served the dealers association as trustee and, most recently, vice president.

A lifelong area resident and 1977 graduate of Boardman High School, Fellman lives in Boardman with his wife Cathy and sons John Stanko, a student at Youngstown State University, and Robert Fellman, who attends Glenwood Middle School in Boardman.

Other newly-elected officers are Kim Welsh Koch of Welsh Motors in New Springfield as vice president, and Matt Taylor of Taylor Kia in Boardman as treasurer.

Elected to new three-year terms as trustees were Bob Davis of Fairway Ford Mercury in Canfield and Vince Prindle of Wollam Chevrolet in Cortland. Rounding out the ADAEO board of trustees are Chuck Eddy of Bob and Chuck Eddy Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Austintown and John Kufleitner of Salem Chrysler Jeep Dodge.

Smith completes 'Motor Systems' course

SALEM-Dr. Gary F. Smith D.C. recently completed a course titled "Motor Systems" which covers evaluations of movement disorders related to diseases or dysfunction of the central nervous system and those in the extremities. This is part of the board certification in neurology taken at the Carrick Institute.

Johnson joins Northwood's Salem office

SALEM-Northwood Realty Services has announced that Richard Johnston has joined its team of award winning agents in the Salem office. He is a member of the National Associations of Realtors, Ohio Association of Realtors, Warren Area Board of Realtors, and the Regional Multiple Listing Service.

Johnston, a native of Salem, attended Kent State University. Previously he was a life insurance agent with Western Southern and sold automobiles with such Salem "icons" as Patterson, Chrysler-Plymouth-Jeep and Shaffer Dodge. Most recently, he was serving the country fighting terrorism by accepting a commission of federal service in the Department of Homeland Security.

Morris is member of MDRT
