SALEM- A Ravenna man has been arrested in connection with a weekend shooting incident in the city.
Quinton E. Lewis, 30, was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with misdemeanor charges of aggravated menacing and discharging a firearm on prohibited premises.
The charges stem from a shooting incident early Sunday morning at the Wing Warehouse at 441 S. Ellsworth Ave. in which a man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon. Officers originally responded to the establishment to investigate a report filed by a man who claimed someone shot at him in the parking lot.
A second shooting occurred outside the police department at 1:40 a.m. that same morning.
No one was injured in either incident.
Detective Dave Talbert said the department is still attempting to recover the suspected firearm, but that an investigation led to the warrants for Lewis, who may still face further charges issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury.
He is being held at the Columbiana County Jail in connection with the first shooting and should face arraignment on Monday, according to Talbert.
Police are still investigating the second shooting.
