Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur H. Martin of 422 Fairfield Ave., Columbiana, were honored on the occasion of their 66th wedding anniversary with a family open house reception on Jan. 24 at their home. The celebration was hosted by their children and grandchildren.
The former Winifred (Winnie) L. Miller and Mr. Martin were married on Jan. 23, 1944, in front of the fireplace in the same house where she was born and now currently resides. The Rev. J.K. McDivitt of the First Presbyterian Church in Columbiana officiated.
The Martins are parents of a son, Robert (Judy) Martin of Columbiana, and two daughters, Louise Best of Columbiana and DeErla (Ed) Schaefer of Greenford. They also have seven grandchildren 20 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Martin was a self-employed farmer and worked at the National Rubber Company.
Mrs. Martin was a milk inspector for the former Tech Dairy in Boardman and later read meters for the Village of Columbiana.
