Tumbling Waters collection on display
YOUNGSTOWN-Tumbling Waters, a collection of 34 black and white photographs by Western Pennsylvania photographer William E. Workman, will be on display at the Weller Gallery at Fellows Riverside Gardens, Mill Creek MetroParks. The exhibit will be open from Jan. 8 through Feb. 14.
Tumbling Waters features stunning photographs of waterfalls, rapids and cascades.
The brute force of water is evident in some of the photographs, while in others the water appears deceptively soft, silky, and even sensuous.
Often, unseen and unexpected complex flow patterns become apparent in these photographs, adding to the beauty and mystery of the images. Most of these magnificent locales are not found on standard maps.
Fellows Riverside Gardens, operated by Mill Creek MetroParks is a botanical display garden open daily free of charge from dawn to dark.
The Davis Education and Visitor Center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
