Robert D. Boyles
NORTH LIMA - Robert D. Boyles, 83, of North Lima, died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday at his home following an extended illness.
Mr. Boyles was born on Nov. 29, 1926 in Shamrock, Texas, a son of the late Manson and Mae (Robinson) Boyles.
He retired from General Motors' Lordstown Plant after 23 years of service. He was a WW II Army Air Corps veteran.
Mr. Boyles is survived by his wife, Salley (Parrilla) Boyles, whom he married Dec. 7, 1945. He is also survived by two daughters, Sandra (Elmer) McDevitt of East Palestine and Patricia (Edwin) Schisler of Hartville; two sons, Robert (Mary) Boyles Jr. of East Palestine and Marc (Christy) Boyles of Pulaski, Tenn.; two brothers, Ruel (Alma) Boyles of Chino Valley, Ariz., and Bonnie Jo Robinson of California; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
There will be no services or calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material tributes be made to Hospice of the Valley.
