The Salem Storybook Museum awarded its annual service award at a dinner party held Dec. 14 at the Spread Eagle Tavern in Hanoverton. Linda and Bob Sebo were the recipients of the "Persons of the Year" Award.
Last summer the Sebo gardens were featured on "A Burchfield Summer" garden tour and during Dec. 10-12, the Sebo mansion was opened to the general public for the first time in "A Home for the Holidays" Christmas tour. Money raised benefits the Salem Storybook Museum.
Elaine Rousseau and Robert Viencek were the co-chairmen for the event. This is the third year for the award. Previous winners were David Johnson and Mark Seigle.
"There are many generous individuals in the community, and certainly many have had a significant impact on The Salem Storybook Museum, said Viencek. "The board of directors felt that Linda and Bob Sebo have been outstanding benefactors for the museum."
