Donald G. Lemmon
WINDHAM - Donald Gene "Sour" Lemmon, age 74, died at 5:26 a.m. Saturday at his home at 7252 Smalley Road, Windham, Ohio. Don lived in Salem for most of his life, living the past five years in Windham.
He was born July 13, 1935 in Flemington, West Virginia, the son of the late Roscoe and Hazel Murphy Lemmon.
He had been employed as an enameler at the former Eljer Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1984. He was a 1953 graduate of Salem High School.
He was a member of the Salem AMVETS, the Salem Slovak Club, the Ravenna Moose Club and the Salem Italian Club.
He is survived by three daughters, Lynn (David) Raymond of Salem, Penny (Kenneth) Creer of Hanoverton and Donna Lemmon of Townsend; one brother, James (MaryAnn) Lemmon of Winona; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Thomas Lemmon.
Private services will be held at Hope Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Stark Memorial.
