The Salem Youth Chorus is shown performing Saturday evening at St. Paul Church in Salem. The ensemble is performing a series of concerts to help fund a trip to the United Kingdom. The performance, "I Will Sing with the Spirit," featured sacred choral music with works by Billings, Finzi, Rutter, Palestrina, Stainer, Mozart, Matthias and others. The choir also recently released a Christmas CD, "Festival of Lessons and Carols," which features a selection of music and read scripture appropriate for the Christmas season.
